Although the State of Michigan mandates shooting preserves operate from mid-August - April annually, we here at The Ringneck Ranch LLC are going to get the season rocking September 7, 2013. But just in case there are shooter's with that new gun they can't wait to shoot, or a new spring pup they want to get out in the field for the first time. We know you're pacing the floor waiting to get out in the fields to see how much better you shoot with that new gun, or to see if that pup is going to be that once-in-a lifetme hunting dog we all dream about. If you can't wait to get out and bust a few phesants send us a e-mail or give us a phone call and we'll get you set up and pointed toward the birds anytime after August 15.
Here at The Ringneck Ranch LLC it won't be much longer until Ringneck Pheasant preserve season opens. Right now we're growing the birds and cover in anticipation of another great south-central Michigan hunting season.We can hardly wait until the guns start smoking and the birds are dropping at The Ringneck Ranch LLC. The Ringneck Ranch LLC is always glad to welcome all the terrific hunters that come out to hunt pheasant. Alot of hunters look forward to their annual Ringneck Ranch hunts with co-workers, family and friends; all of them great outdoorsmen and women who are working to keep Michigan's hunting heritage alive and well.
We've hosted some spectacular hunts at the Ranch over the years. Countless shooters come out to bust those cagey ringnecks with great success . It doesn't matter whether hunters come out to get some field hunting in, or to obliterate massive numbers of pheasants as those crazy birds come busting out of the tower during one of our European Hunts, it's always another great day spent at The Ringneck Ranch LLC. We can't even begin to tell you how much we enjoy having all of you and how much we appreciate the time you spend with us.
Whether you're hunting alone or you're with some shooting side kicks the "Shot-Lodge" will be your first stop when you arrive. Bring your gear in and make yourself at home just like you're at the family hunting cabin. The coffee is always fresh and strong, with plenty of conversation, joking and kidding being bantered around. Many of the folks that hunt with us bring their lunch along to enjoy before or after their hunt. Your always welcome to plug in your crock-pots; use the range, the fridge and just about anything else you need. Give us a heads-up if you want to do a little grilling and the gas grill will be ready and waiting.

If you 're looking for shooting that's a little more intense and action packed but hate to give up the opportunity of a traditional field hunt you need to take part in one of "Big Daddy Ron's European Hunts" That's right, this is it! You're going to have to get up early to get here in time for coffee and fresh baked that morning donuts in the Shot-Lodge. Once that caffine and sugar shake you awake there will be a few minutes to catch up with old and new friends: get your gear; guns and shells together before a short safety meeting. Then it's out to the tower field and a quick walk to one of fifteen shooting stations and some incredible shooting action. The thrower's are going to pitch ten wiley pheasants per shooter; released in rounds of ten birds each from the tower for up to 30 shooters with shooters moving to the next station after each round. While you're out in the firestorm things are happening at the Shot-Lodge as we pull together a spectacular luncheon for your group of shooters. We'll be servng juicy and tender, thick-cut New York Strip Steaks, grilled and served with salad, baked potato, rolls, beverage and seasonal desserts. You're going to eat too much; but don't worry, you'll be burning that and more off in the afternoon. There won't be any stretching out for a little afternoon snooze because after lunch it's back out to the fields for a walk-up hunt to kick up those birds that made it through the circle of fire that morning. The best of the best: a full day of running and gunning the entire Ringneck Ranch for participants of Big Daddy Ron's European Hunt. When the days over you get loaded down with your own fresh, plucked clean and bagged pheasants. We've included everything except your hunting clothes, shoes, gun and ammo. All you have to do is show up and shoot! You're going to have some hunting fun. Having a superior hunt always comes back to the same three elements.
